On the following two pages you would see a 528i with Angel Eyes lights installed using an original retrofitting kit from Hella and a 530i (E34) with the aftermarket HID installation.
If you are looking for a true HID installation for your car I can locate the kits that you can use:
either a full kit with the ballasts, light bulbs, or just the ballasts, or just the light bulbs.
The beauty of the light bulbs is that the sockets are replicating the original factory fittings, so you do not need to modify your car and can keep it as stock as it gets and still have the true HID/Xenon lighting.
